Routes B & N diverted due to gas works along Henderson Drive - Phase 2
Bus services are now able to operate along Henderson Drive, where one lane of has been re-opened with two-way traffic lights being in place. Fastrack routes B and N have returned to their normal line of route along Henderson Drive, although there is a risk of additional delays at peak times due to the temporary two-way traffic lights across the single-lane section.
We apologise for the inconvenience this causes for those travelling to/from Temple Hill, and we will be working with SGN and Kent County Council to review feedback and improve the service provision if the works permit. We strongly recommend planning your journeys in advance, and thank you for your patience with our drivers and customer service team during these temporary changes.
Delays at peak times due to temporary traffic lights on Springhead Road
Update 7th March 2026: These works have been extended until 17th July 2026, and permission has been given to the contractors to work on Saturdays between 09:00 and 13:00, which may cause additional delays on Saturday mornings.
Ongoing pavement improvement works on Springhead Road are causing delays of up to 20 minutes, particularly at peak times (08:00 - 10:30 and 15:00 - 18:30). This affects vehicles in both directions travelling through Springhead Park. These works are planned to continue until mid-July, and our team are working to monitor and minimise impact to journey times where possible.
Between Monday 11th May and Friday 22nd May we are also aware of additional roadworks taking place on Hall Road and the A2 which are likely to further impact traffic on Springhead Road.
